# Approche(s) méthodologique(s) de référence(s)

L’approche de référence recommandée est une combinaison de deux méthodes de traitement nécessaires pour effectuer un bilan physique exhaustif sur le sujet :

- **Un inventaire des installations de géothermie profonde :** vise à établir un bilan direct des productibles et des consommables à partir des données brutes par installation. Cette approche consiste à identifier, compiler et traiter les informations disponibles et exploitables sur le territoire considéré à l’échelle de l’exploitation concernant ses caractéristiques et son fonctionnement.
- **Une modélisation du parc d’installations de pompes à chaleur :** vise à établir le bilan des productibles et des consommables des installations non identifiables sur le territoire à partir de sources de données indirectes. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Ce type d’approche nécessite plusieurs jeux d’hypothèses pour établir successivement les caractéristiques du parc (nombre, puissances installées) puis l’estimation des productibles et consommables.

#### Comparaison avec la méthode pratiquée dans le cadre du bilan national

Le bilan physique national distingue la filière géothermie de la filière pompe à chaleur. Comme la méthode de référence proposée ci-dessus, les modalités pratiques sont distinctes avec des approches équivalentes.

A l’instar d’autres filières, l’utilisation seule des sources de données utilisées à l’échelle nationale ne peut suffire pour l’établissement de bilans territoriaux. Les sources utilisées, notamment pour la simulation des productibles et consommables de la filière Pompe à chaleur ne sont accessibles qu’à l’échelon géographique national. Seules quelques informations parcellaires et non homogènes sur le marché des systèmes domestiques sont disponibles à la maille régionale via l’AFPG ou Observ’ER :

- **AFPG :** études de marché, données de puissance installée ou de productibles des systèmes géothermiques du segment « très basse énergie » des années de référence 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015
- **Observ’ER :** ventes de pompes à chaleur inférieures à 30kW, détail régional des systèmes géothermiques, aérothermiques air/eau et air/air à partir de l’année de référence 2018.
